There is a small temple built alongside the shore as well.

It is a shrine that is dedicated to an Indian soldier who passed away by drowning in a nearby stream. His clothes, shoes and badges are preserved here along with his photographs. It is mandatory for army officials to pay their respects here for it is believed that his soul still protects the fellow military mates. Many people also bottle the water in the name of the ailing people and the water seems to heal them.
